Image files stay on your device

Fyleap processes selected image files in your browser. We do not provide an image-upload endpoint, receive image files, retain them, or inspect them. Downloaded results are created from your browser’s local memory.

Metadata removal

The tool checks common JPEG EXIF and GPS metadata locally and creates a newly encoded output that omits common embedded metadata. This is a practical sharing feature, not a forensic guarantee; verify an export yourself when removal is critical.

Local browser storage

Fyleap may use your browser’s Cache Storage to keep the application available after the first visit. This cache contains application files, not your selected images. You can clear it at any time through your browser’s site-data controls.

Feedback and email

The feedback area opens your own email application. Fyleap does not submit or store that form on this website. If you choose to send an email, the message and any reply address are handled by your email provider and received by us only to respond to your request.

Technical requests

Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard technical request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URLs and timestamps to deliver and secure the site. These requests are separate from your image files.

Advertising, analytics and cookies

This initial version has no advertising or analytics scripts and does not set non-essential tracking cookies. Before advertising or analytics is enabled, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required for the regions we serve. For personalized Google ads in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, a Google-certified TCF CMP is required before ad tags load.

International visitors and operator

Fyleap is operated by an independent site operator for a global audience. Cloudflare Pages provides site hosting. For privacy, copyright or accessibility questions, contact support@fyleap.com. This policy describes the current service design and is not legal advice.
