Why metadata matters

Photos may contain extra information even when it is not visible in the picture itself. A location, camera model, time or editing software can be useful context—or information you do not want to disclose.

Does the report remove metadata?

No. It reports on common fields. Use the image tool to create a new image copy without common hidden metadata.

Which files can I inspect?
