Removing common metadata is useful before sharing a photo publicly, attaching it to a form or sending it to someone you do not know well. It is not a forensic guarantee: inspect sensitive exports yourself and avoid relying on a single tool for legal or safety-critical decisions.

You can also compress the cleaned copy or convert HEIC to JPG locally.
